- Managed a team of paralegals located in three different offices and helped them set and progress toward career goals - Advised on mortgage servicing and REO business policy, procedure, and strategy to ensure compliance with applicable laws and new regulations - Managed active servicing and REO litigation and worked with outside counsel to investigate claims, draft pleadings, and defend cases in state and federal courts- Assisted with responses to congressional and media inquiries to limit reputational and litigation risk

- Represented major banks, mortgage and auto finance companies, and other financial institutions in state and federal court litigation involving consumer finance, real estate, title, lien priority, and contract and debt collection issues

- Reviewed pleadings, researched legal issues, and drafted bench memos and proposed orders for the judge’s consideration
