Atlantic LNG, a start-up joint venture company of British Gas, BP Amoco, REPSOL, S.A., Cabot LNG and the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago, was established to purchase natural gas in Trinidad and produce LNG for shipment to markets in the United States and Spain. • Managed and directed all areas of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, treasury, human resources, IT, and business services including a staff of 40. Designed and implemented comprehensive corporate policies and procedures.• Developed the initial staffing program for the organization and projected manpower requirements through the construction, commissioning, and operating stages for a plant with 190 employees. • Lead member of the financing syndication process, negotiated a $600MM financing facility primarily through US EXIM Bank and OPIC.
