• Provided general lab support for transgenic mouse lines and project specific support for a study of immune interactions with the vasculature in atherosclerosis models.• Performed novel cell-based endothelial cell and primary immune cell co-culture to examine endothelial cells effects on T cell response. Isolation splenic OT-I T cells and bone marrow derived antigen presenting cells, combining with transgenic endothelium.• Executed cellular biology techniques to explore T cell phenotype via cell culture and subsequent ELISA, immunoblotting, flow cytometry, western blotting.• Aided in other projects with molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, DNA isolation via mini & maxi-prep, and immunohistochemistry.• Maintained large mouse colony (13 lines, ~200 cages) of genetically engineered mouse strains through breeding, weaning, drug treatment, sample collection, and genotyping.
