Provide primary support to the Director of Revenue Operations in all revenue cycle operations to ensure best business practices while promoting corporate controls and implementing process efficiencies.Administration – Management of staff of ten in areas of Order Management, Project Onboarding, and Billing groups within four distinct business units (Systems Integration, Warranty Service, Managed Services, and Rental Operations) with combined monthly activity in excess of $35M. Serve as liaison between Finance (G/L Accounting & Treasury groups), Integration Operations, Service Operations, and Information Technology for all areas of revenue cycle management.Operations & Business Development – Serve as primary point of escalation for project approval, onboarding, and billing functions. Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of process improvement projects in order to optimize the overall health of AVI-SPL’s 11,000 active contract subledger. This includes ongoing assessment of complete revenue cycle process, technology, and productivity, with reporting of recommendations to executive management.Analytics & Compliance – Ongoing development, maintenance, and refinement of consolidated analytics platform in areas of contract management, receivables, collections, and cash applications with weekly & monthly deliverables to EVP of Operations & CFO. Responsible for continuous analysis & reconciliation of cost/revenue discrepancies in G/L at project level. This includes reconcilement and reallocation of service revenue from WIP (Work in Progress) percentage of completion accounting model via Sage Pro V7.4.

Administration & Business Development – Responsible for the ongoing update, maintenance, and refinement of company financial statements utilizing Cognos TM1. This included the monthly build of P&L reporting packages for individual business units, and the research & reconciliation of G/L & Balance Sheet flux. Secondary reporting included sales pipeline & bookings, labor utilization, covenant compliance, and multi-LOB revenue forecasting.

Administration – Managed staff of five Billing Analysts accountable for accurate processing of all company work orders, contract renewals, service terminations, billable technical support, and the accurate billing of Switch & Data’s legacy customer base. This role included facilitation of performance evaluations, goal establishment, role development, and conflict resolution.Operations – Responsible for the day-to-day activities required to maintain an $18mm per month revenue stream. This included regular auditing & posting of billable items at the point of entry in Great Plains Accounting, provided second level support to both external and internal customers, and participated in month-end activities as point of contact for deliverables to accounting management.Analytics & Compliance – Ensure integrity of data flow between Siebel CRM, Great Plains Accounting, and Invoice Generation platforms. This role included troubleshooting & documentation of data issues, and extensive interaction with Information Technology group to correct. Responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining analytics related to month-end activities including A/R reconciliations, variance analysis, customer trend reporting, deferred revenue, and billable labor & materials. Responsible for maintaining accounting controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, which included monthly, quarterly, and annual audit reporting. Specific Achievements – Upon promotion, was tasked with adapting analytics developed in Treasury Analyst role to resolve recurring data issues between the three major platforms used by billing group. Implemented routines to troubleshoot and resolve out of period posting, deferred revenue, customer aging, billable inventory, and Great Plains reporting issues. Co-conceived, designed, and implemented standard analytic package for presentation to key customers & senior Finance, Marketing, Sales, and executive management.

Cash Management – Administrated ongoing Daily/Weekly analysis & forecasting of cash position (utilizing banking, A/P, A/R, & Payroll data) for submission to VP Finance & CFO. This role included reporting of current activity for cash application, and maximizing interest income in all domestic & international accounts.Financial Reporting Functions – Responsible for management and reconciliation of all cash accounts in the G/L, including multicurrency analysis & reporting. Acted as liaison between Receivables, Payables, and the Director of Accounting for resolution of outstanding cash application & escheatment issues. Responsible for all monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet fluxes related to cash position and interest income. Maintained monthly analysis & reconciliation of all company derivative positions, and Represented the company in all quarterly & annual auditing functions relating to cash.Treasury Services – Managed & reconciled all treasury activity with administrative level authority in company banking systems. Initiated all account transfers, wire activity, ACH authorizations, account structure maintenance, user access, and acted as primary point of contact with banking institutions.Specific Achievements – Upon promotion, designed & implemented complete reengineering of Cash Management; streamlined & automated processes, and wrote comprehensive procedures manual to aid in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Created business plan related to maximization of interest income, and once approved by VP Finance, designed new analytic tools geared towards transferring all excess operating capital to investment accounts. Due to these efforts, during 4Q 2007, interest income increased ~$50K per month while average collected balances in operational (non-interest bearing) accounts were reduced by >70% without negatively impacting day-to-day operations.

Full Cycle Accounts Payable - Maintained current status on all recurring, purchasing, & utilities expenses, including the accurate coding, booking, and authorizations of above in a multi-company, multi-currency environment (via Great Plains -eEnterprise v6.0, v7.5, & v9.5). Assisted in open invoice accrual & A/P close as part of month-end reporting.Specific Achievements - Trained in the role of Purchasing Manager; managed day-to-day operations for Purchasing Department for up to two months at a time (Procurement, PO Creation & Maintenance, Shipping Management, Online Account Maintenance, and Site/Vendor Conflict Resolution).
