After a 38 year career in banking I have now taken on the role of Associate Director for TC Group. Here I will continue to have a very strong focus on supporting SME Businesses grow, diversify, collaborate and be successful. Over the years I have developed a real passion for working with SME’s and owner managed businesses, that are aligned to industries such as advanced manufacturing, engineering and high-performance technology that support sectors such as automotive, aerospace, medical, motorsport and many more besides.At TC Group we have a great team of people that possess the depth and breadth of expertise and resource to assist all businesses with their financial reporting objectives as well as an award winning teams. Utilising the expertise of the TC Group team, in conjunction with a vast array of contacts I have developed in my career, will ensure the best possible support for SME’s in the area.In addition to the above I have for many years held a number of ambassadorial, committee and “working group” roles with numerous organisations. One of which I am extremely proud of has been my involvement with the Silverstone Technology Cluster, which dates back before its inception, and I will continue to champion this and the wider “Cluster”.

I am really pleased to announce that I have been successful in securing a position on the newly formed South Midlands Business Board. I am confident that my 30+ years of working with SME businesses will provide a valuable insight to the new board.The Business Board will provide strategic advice to the South Midlands Authorities Board, which consists of six local authorities, on matters of specific interest to businesses. Its mission is to ensure that the economic strategy of the South Midlands aligns with the needs and opportunities faced by businesses in the region. By doing so, the Business Board aims to drive sustainable economic growth and enhance the region’s competitive edge.

My current role is as a Business Development Director working with SME businesses across Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire. Myself and my wider team look after SME’s with turnover ranging from £250k to £50m across a diverse range of businesses which also includes the likes of High Growth, Agriculture, Real Estate and many more besides In my previous role I worked predominantly with the likes of Manufacturing, Engineering, High Performance and Technology led businesses. I am a strong advocate of collaboration and the “Ecosystem” that continues to evolve in the area to support the SME community with personal links in to the likes of The Silverstone Technology Cluster, Connected Places Catapult, SEMLEP, Cranfield University and the wider professional networks in the area.

My current role is as a Relationship Director working with SME businesses across Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire. Myself and my wider team look after SME’s with turnover ranging from £250k to £50m.A dedicated advocate of the key local sectors I work specifically with SME’s that focus on:-Manufacturing-Engineering-High Performance Technology and MotorsportClient support includes solutions for short term financing for working capital management, medium/long term financing of capital expenditure projects and freehold property purchases, money transmission/deposits, FX, trade finance, card services and wealth management.Wider business engagement includes working with the Local Enterprise Partnerships, The Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC), Connected Places Catapult, Cranfield University, Silverstone Park, Milton Keynes College and a variety of professional partners to support SME businesses in the area.
