Welcome, and thank you for visiting my LinkedIn Profile.For the past 16 years I have been the proud owner of an award winning craft brewery with 40 years of history and heritage. Cotleigh Brewery was established in the Cotleigh Stables in Washfield, but due to demand that had not been anticipated, it was relocated in 1980 to the historic brewing town of Wiveliscombe, Somerset where it remains to this day. I have tried to build on these proud foundations and turn the brewery into a modern operation, whilst respecting the values and heritage that the original owners represented when brewing their orignal craft beer recipes. We brew familiar names such as Tawny, Barn Owl, Golden Seahawk, Old Buzzard and Cotleigh IPA.I have also enjoyed a long and exciting career in the alcohol beverage industry. I joined the Seagram Wine and Spirits Company (SOSCO) as a Marketing Manager in South Africa and was then transferred to London where I was an International Brand Director for the Chivas and Glenlivet Group. My last post was Commercial Director in Moscow responsible for sales in the Former Soviet Union. I have been able to apply my experience of working for a large company to Cotleigh Brewery. We have won several prestigious awards over the years and our beers are available across England. If you ever find yourself in the West Country I would be delighted to meet you for a cup of tea or a beer :) Our current customers include over one thousand freehouses, JD Wetherspoons, Greene King, Mitchells and Butler, Tesco, The Co-op, Londis and others.
