As the Regional Director of Healthcare Architecture at AECOM, I lead a team of talented architects and designers who deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for a diverse range of healthcare projects in the UK, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. I have over 25 years of architectural experience, with a focus on healthcare for more than 15 years.My role and responsibilities involve managing the delivery of healthcare projects, taking a leading role in the planning and design of major hospital developments, and contributing to marketing and bid preparation for new healthcare opportunities. Some of the projects I have worked on include the Bart’s and the Royal London PFI development, the Trento Hospital in Italy, and the Kazakhstan National Oncology Centre. I am passionate about creating healthy and safe environments that enhance the wellbeing of patients, staff, and communities, and I am always looking for ways to bring innovation and efficiencies to projects of all building types. I am also interested in the broader issues of sustainability and how models of care can influence a sustainable approach in the healthcare sector.
