As a New Zealander I am grateful to be part of a free, peaceful and progressive society that accommodates different beliefs and lifestyles, and where everyone shares in the benefits.To me life is full of challenge and interest, and brimming with possibilities. I try to make the most of every opportunity, as the diversity of my academic and employment background demonstrates. My current challenge is discovering the expanding horizons of the IT industry. To upskill for an IT career I am studying part-time toward a Bachelor of Science in Computing degree at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in partnership with Waikato University. My work, my home, my pets, and some of my relatives are all in sunny Tauranga. I have enjoyed living here for 15 years since leaving Auckland where I resided throughout the 1990s. I've also lived in Hamilton and Christchurch. I am able to move to wherever the next employment opportunity leads me.
