Mr. Hicks sets the overall strategic direction for the Southridge group of companies and is responsible for business development and execution.Active in the investment industry for over 35 years, Mr. Hicks has broad experience in financial structuring, derivatives, risk arbitrage and merchant banking. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from The King’s College in New York City’s Briarcliff Manor and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Fordham University in New York City. In 1998, Mr. Hicks and his wife began the Daystar Foundation, which seeks to positively impact the lives of people in need and to make a difference by committing time, energy and financial resources to the betterment of local and global society.
