As a young man in long term recovery, I have made it my mission to use my life experience as a means of preventing the onset of substance abuse, and offering effective treatment solutions for anyone suffering from the disease of addiction. I offer a unique perspective from both a professional and personal standpoint. Through working in the field of addiction and recovery, my own personal struggles with substance abuse, and living a clean and sober lifestyle for the past 7 years, I have gained extensive knowledge in both preventing and treating addiction.As a prevention advocate and motivational speaker, I have developed a substance abuse prevention presentation for students, educators, and parents. What sets me apart from other prevention speakers is that my presentation is not only based on facts and statistics, but also my own experiences. I share my story in a personal and emotional manner as a way of relating my story to the audience. I touch on all the relevant topics related to substance abuse throughout my presentation, delivering them in a way that relates to my own experience.For those who are past the point of prevention and already stuck in active addiction, I also specialize as a treatment planning consultant. I have professional relationships with numerous treatment facilities that have different levels of care and cost. I help families navigate through the treatment process, individualizing each treatment plan for my client’s needs. I make sure my clients are receiving the proper treatment while keeping out of pocket costs to a minimum.
