Sidra Sans Frontier (SSF) was founded by a group of individuals from the Southwest region of Somalia. It is an NGO, with the task of helping war torn societies and marginalised communities in South West Somalia. Its emphasis is on supporting and encouraging destitute Southwest parts of Somalia in particular and Somali people in large, where poor marginalised communities are found who are vulnerable to poverty due to natural disaster and mismanagement of resources.In my role, I research possible donors for SSF's various development projects. I source grants and charitable gifts through connecting and corresponding with potential donors from foundations, family offices, angel philanthropists, governmental and intergovernmental bodies. I also lead on applying for grant applications, with a focus on writing the grant bids.. Successfully reached out to foundations, family offices, governmental and supranational agencies as well as charitable angel investors to help raise £250,000 in grants and charitable gifts for a pilot food forest project in Southwest Somalia. . Due to the quality of his work for Sidra Sans Frontier, I have since been given the job of sourcing funding for Human Well-Being’s greenhouse project in South West Somalia, where they are looking for £100,000 in grant funding and charitable gifts.

Also organised MAAS's inaugural celebration of Sukkot hosted by Rabbi Wittenberg and attended by leading interfaith activists, Jewish and Muslim communal leaders and local councillors in the North London area.• Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: Worked closely with supporters and volunteers of MAAS on how the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has divided Jews and Muslims in the online world and on the streets of the UK. •Marketing: Generated interest and publicised interest in the work of MAAS through the production and dissemination of promotional materials, as well as regular op-eds and blogs online, in print media and for the website.Relaunched and promoted MAAS’s website. . Social media: Used social media scheduling expertise on Buffer, Facebook Suites, Hootsuite and Tweetdeck to grow Muslims Against Antisemitism’s (MAAS)Twitter followers from 2,000 to 11,000 from September 2019 to March 2020.
