  Stephen D. Hoffman is a senior litigator who concentrates in handling complex cases in the federal and state courts. His clients include large international banks, conglomerates, publishing companies, investment firms and funds, real estate companies, industrial companies, and high-net-worth individuals.Steve has experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, and he has represented his clients in cases and trials involving areas such as financial derivatives, letters of credit, collection of delinquent loans, copyright and trademark infringement, employment discrimination, the rights of privacy and publicity, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, restrictive covenants, sovereign, consular and diplomatic immunity, the antitrust, securities and environmental laws, and contested estate matters.Steve began his career as law clerk to Chief Judge Jacob Mishler of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and then as an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell. He also held positions as senior litigation partner at Warshavsky, Hoffman & Cohen P.C. and Rosen & Reade before joining Wilk Auslander in July 2002.Steve served as the 50th President of the New York County Lawyers’ Association, and, as part of activities at the New York County Lawyers’ Association, Steve served as the chair of one of the largest trial practice courses in New York City.
