Stephen Hsu is the senior deputy manager of Cathay United Bank and one of initial members of the Financial Planning and Analysis Team, which was established in 2019. In 2020, Stephen led a cross-functional team to develop medium-term/annual strategy and budget, facilitate and ensure BUs to set challenging and feasible objectives. Currently, he is responsible for Institutional Banking Business Unit strategic and financial planning.From 2016 to 2018, Stephen served in various positions and rotated through several departments at Cathay Financial Holdings, Cathay Life Insurance, Cathay United Bank, and Cathay United Bank Cambodia, participating in crucial projects including transforming Small and Medium Enterprises business, evaluating and processing the Consumer Financial Company in China, assisting Symphox to improve E-commerce Operation Agents and Telecommunication business.Prior to Cathay Financial Holdings, he served as an analyst and relationship manager of Liabilities and Investment Team of DBS (Taiwan) from 2013 to 2015. At the end of June 2015, he increased $8 million new assets from more than 60 clients and generated more than $0.6 million revenues in the second year. Before joining DBS, Stephen was an executive trainee and assistant relationship manager of Large Corporate Financial Center of COSMOS Bank (which was acquired by China Development Financial Holdings), assisting the team to complete preparation for more than 30 syndicated loans.He graduated summa cum laude from National University of Science and Technology in 2009 with a major in Business Management and received an MBA from National Cheng Chi University in 2011. He also studied in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Undergraduate Honor Program at National Chiao Tung University (but did not finish).
