Support the Aboriginal community and individuals to access the NDIS. Identify and implement strategies to better support the community to access disability supports. Create/maintain relationships and communicate with mainstream stake holders such as health, education and social services, to identify barriers for the community when accessing NDIS.Foster connections and relationships with other Aboriginal organisations and all providers within the disability community.Onboard and support new participants to access NDIS supports within Awabakal. Trainer and Facilitator for the Local Area Coordination (LAC) Program for the NDIS.Liaise with multiple external stake holders including mainstream, community and informal supports to develop strategies to better support the disability community to access the scheme and participate within the scheme itself. Develop training based on research conducted with external stakeholders and consultations with the Performance Team. Deliver training required for new and current staff of the program, mandatory and specific to roles.Implement quality audits.Ascertain areas of improvement based on quality audits and communication with community, executive staff and performance team.Develop appropriate strategies and content for continued excellence within the organisation.Support new and current staff towards excellent work practice and job satisfaction
