The Director of Adult Education is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the Adult Education programs in Boston and Quincy. This person is part of the management team and responsible for, but not limited to: program administration, supervision, operations, program development and implementation, grant writing and reporting.

• Coordinate educational activities and excursions for international students• Organize TEDx talk to inspire students to share their ideas with the world• Design and lead the Speech and Debate CCA with competitive participants• Assist with the PBL design for “Mission to Mars” and “Tianwen station” projects

• Consult with government leaders on China-US education and sport exchange• Global IELTS and TOEFL instructor with high level of international placements• Provided students with application, admission, career, and immigration advice• Instruct Oral English, Interpretation, Economics and Intercultural Communication

• Interview students using standardized tests and assessment tools• Advise both: Career and ABE Transitions to Community College opportunities• Implement initiatives to improve the employment potential of international adults• Establish partnerships with community organizations, hospitals, schools, and employers

• Long-term positions in Chinese Language, Social Science, and Earth Science• Carry out academic work prescribed in the lesson plan of the classroom teacher• Inspire students to boost performance, communication, and critical thinking skills• Perform duties directed by the principal and district regulation of the absent teacher

Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate students on topics such as how to speak and write in English language, and the cultural aspects of areas where a particular language is used. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. Participate in university and local events. Provide professional consulting services to government and/or industry.

Responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
