I am the SRO for the Business Products project within the Digital Parliament Programme at The Scottish Parliament. This project is looking at the modernisation of the Parliament's Business Bulletin (Order Paper), how we better present Committee Reports on our website and at a greater use of more interactive infographics in Research Briefings. This project is part of the Parliament's effort to ensure that by 2016, people can better interact with our services digitally, enabling you to connect, communicate and collaborate successfully with others.

I wasresponsible for the work of the Parliamentary Bureau, acting as one of the principal clerks for the Chamber and the advisors to the Presiding Officers and wasin charge of organising the business of the Parliament. I previously undertook this role for 18 months in 2012 to 2013.I am also Senior Responsible Officer for a project under the Digital Parliament Programme to review the production of core business publications with a view to providing these in a more accessible and digital format.

I also carried out a market analysis for the investment opportunities in Central and South America. Finally, I had the privilege of learning more about how SDI supports Scottish firms to internationalise and how it encourages American and Canadian companies to invest in Scotland.

Senior consultant responsible for much of the company's energy and environmental policy work. Main clients included the European Commission, European Parliament, UK Government and a variety of private sector companies. Most of my time with ECOTEC was spent in their offices in Brussels, Belgium, where I lived and worked for many years.
