I am currently employed by TESS-Aberdeen. I initially joined the company as a trainee service technician, over the duration I have gained a large amount of experience working both locally and internationally carrying out overhauls and the implementation of our THM system. My current role within is Workshop Team Leader, with key responsibilities and accountabilities such as;Overall responsibility for the hose department sales target/budget as set annually by management.Processing all hose sales quotes on a day to day basis in a timely manner ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.Assisting with any bids or tenders as requested for hose sales and THM work on or offshore.Dealing with local and international suppliers in a professional manner for goods not held in stock ensuring we receive the best competitive prices to increase profit margins.Dealing with any supplier or client query resulting from sales with both internal and external clients.Carry out sales calls to any existing or potential clients, explaining about TESS and what services we can offer ensuring we establish a professional relationship from the first meeting.Provide full hose service including but not limited to hose manufacture , pressure testing both locally and internationally when required.Attendance at seminars, exhibitions and conferences as required. Monthly reporting requirements & attendance at meetings.Be available to carry out any THM (TESS Hose Management) work both onshore and offshore when required both locally and internationally.Participate in any training that is agreed upon in competency and training plan.Assist with any internal training requirements with new team members within marine sales or hose departments according to training plan.Supervise and delegate daily to the workshop technicians
