I pursued a career in journalism not only for a love of arranging words on the page, but to tell stories that impact readers. At the start of my career that took the form of local reporting, which I pursued at various companies for around five years, including AOL’s Patch. I feel fortunate to have had my work reporting on Superstorm Sandy’s impacts on communities of Long Island’s South Shore recognized by the Press Club of Long Island.During the web content heyday of the early 2010s, I successfully built Entrepreneur Media's contributor network from a handful of writers to several hundreds. I commissioned pieces by CEOs, military commanders and celebrities. I helped several up-and-coming writers gain a national audience.Following my stint as contributors editor, I was promoted to news director of Entrepreneur.com, where I managed a fabulous team of reporters. I wrote hundreds of stories, edited even more than that, launched a weekly column on food and beverage entrepreneurs and recorded both audio and video features. I interviewed Jessica Alba, former presidential candidate Andrew Yang and even blink-182’s Tom Delonge about aliens years before videos of alleged UAVs blew people’s minds.I launched my freelance writing business in 2019 to help companies tell their stories with the fundamentals of journalism. My writing on behalf of clients has appeared in Forbes, HR Dive, Fast Company, NASDAQ and MarketWatch.
