I am an experienced director of software engineering with 15 years of experience in Software Engineering and 8 years in leadership roles. My passion lies in building well-tested, robust software that adheres to best practices, because doing this minimizes maintenance. I want my developers to focus on what they love most—writing more code. I’m equally passionate about integrating time-saving technologies into the development process, whether it's using AI or other modern tools to enhance efficiency and productivity. By leveraging the right tools and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, I aim to create environments where developers can excel and create impactful solutions.I’ve had the opportunity to lead and mentor multinational teams, including 23 engineers across five teams, to deliver industry-shaping products. Two of these products gained notable recognition, even being featured in the Wall Street Journal for their role in driving market disruption and significant growth for the company.I’m particularly proud of transforming a team that once struggled with frequent outages into a high-performing unit that achieved 99.99% uptime while scaling the platform to handle 13 million users. This turnaround not only helped us retain our largest client but also led to our team becoming the highest revenue earner in the company.One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role has been contributing to the growth of our engineering workforce during a period of rapid expansion. I played a key role in hiring, personally selecting 22 top Java engineers, which strengthened our teams across the US and India as we grew from 200 to over 600 employees.Additionally, I spearheaded the adoption of agile methodology across the organization by integrating Jira and Scrum. What began as an initiative within my teams quickly expanded to the entire company with management’s support, and I was honored to receive an innovation award for this transformation.
