I am a published author and qualitative research, public outreach, strategic program design, non-profit management, and educational professional. I have created and directed research projects in the fields of medical and end-of-life decision-making and public policy, resulting in numerous published articles, books, organizational newsletters, and evaluation reports to agencies and foundations. I am skilled in research-based strategic organizational planning and successful grant making efforts as well as coordinating large numbers of volunteers and supporters statewide for outreach efforts. Further, I have worked to increase support for organizational goals by developing broad-based community and organizational partnerships and alliances for social, legal, and perceptual change. I have served in such positions as executive director, regional director, statewide coordinator, board president, and board member for several non-profit organizations.
