Key responsibilities:Manage Vocae Telecoms VoIP Network operations, driving sales through our Reseller and Agents channel, maximising the value of the asset base while ensuring a tight control on operational costs. Responsible for the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) network elements, monitoring and continually improving standards of performance and quality within the operation. Manage VoIP Network • Ensure strict access control on all network VoIP Soft Switch elements.• Manage all operational activities relating to VOCAE Network, Soft Switch and Hosted PBX.• Manage all operational activities relating to Reseller / Agent and customer support. • Manage all data base changes (rates and routing)• Ensure data and billing backups are in place.Interconnect relations• Negotiate, manage and maintain our service contracts relating to our interconnect agreement with MTN.• Manage projects relating to new network installations as well as upgrades to existing networks.• Manage all contracts and agreements with regards to our hosting requirements at Teraco hosting facility.• Responsible for all number porting in and out of the Vocae Network.

Interconnect relations• Negotiate, manage and maintain our service contracts relating to our interconnect agreements with Telkom SA, Vodacom, MTN and Cell C.• Manage projects relating to new network installations as well as upgrades to existing networks.• Manage all contracts and agreements with regards to our hosting requirements at Teraco hosting facility.• Co-ordinate and manage the relations and correspondence with ICASA relating to TelFree Communications ECS and ECNS licences.• Manage the relations with Number Portability Company as well as the activities relating to porting numbers with the Number Portability Company and operators involved.Operational • Manage a team of 13 employees in a busy and challenging work environment ensuring that they follow departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures.
