Over a 30-year career, I have found that building, challenging, and growing are what gives me energy. I love the energy of growth organizations and the opportunity to be a ‘marketing architect’ as we build and rebuild the marketing organization needed to deliver for a rapidly growing business.To me, challenging is at the heart of being a great marketer. I’m leading marketing for a challenger brand where it is a requisite skill, but I think all great marketers are instinctively challengers. There is always a better insight, better positioning, and a better campaign.While I’m a marketer at heart, I’ve run a small business and worked in product, finance, and service functions. So, that helps me see challenges and opportunities from many angles beyond a strict marketing lens.Finally, I find that action and change are fun.
