With particular regard to food preparation and cookery, pastry andconfectionary in this grade one department. I cover all levels from foundation to level 3and am involved with the competition teamTo act as academic and personal tutor to groups of students on a range of programmes inHospitality and Catering, including completion of all appropriate and necessary documentsand records.To prepare and mark assessments as required within a range of programmes andtimetables determined each year. To develop learning materials to embrace new learninginitiatives. Assessment and guidance of competence based qualifications in college andthe workplace.To be proactive in curriculum development and implementation, contribute to businessplanning within the School and work to identify performance targets and quality standards,implement policies and procedures as determined by the Curriculum Manager.Assist in the marketing of courses and the recruitment of students, to deliver high qualityeffective teaching based in a realistic working environment.I was a major contributor in the college restaurant winning an AA Rosette highly recommended, Hospitality Guild gold accreditation and Food & Beverage centre of excellence.
