Develops ability to survive and operate guides and holds training events to ensure the unit is ready to meet mission needs and to minimize casualties and damage in the event of any disaster situation.Ensures over 250 unit members are ready to deploy at a moments notice across the globe. Provides United States Forces Central (USAFCENT) enterprise domain administration in support of Operations Freedom Sentinel and Inherent Resolve. Troubleshoots applications, file permission access, print and email servers, webpage services, and backup and restoral requests for equipment valued at $12 million. Performs daily network server audits, security updates and administration assuring Command, Control, Communications, and Computers/Cyber system integrity for the Commander, Air Force forces operations across a 72 million square mile area of responsibility.

Leads 3 military and 2 civilians supporting the $65 million Air Operations Center (AOC) weapon system communications plans, projects, and programs directed by the Join Chiefs of Staff (JCS), United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), and United States Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT). Coordinates AOC weapon system engineering and baseline changes into CENTCOM theater command, control and communications architecture. Manages $187 million in contracts for 609th Air Communications Squadron both within and outside of the continental United States supporting AOC requirements and upgrades. Oversees communications planning and support for exercises directed by the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF), JCS, USCENTCOM and USAFCENT.

Provides technical and management expertise on system troubleshooting, planning, integration and budgeting. Oversees Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) and Global Command and Control System (GCCS) valued at $65 million.

Completed 6 months of technical training consisting of 2 months of Information Technology fundamentals. Followed by 3 months of basic PC troubleshooting, server administration, and vulnerability management and finally 1 month of CompTIA Security+ training.

Fort Campbell, Ky

Repairs, overhauls, installs, maintains, and modifies tactical ground radio communications and related equipment. Conducts scheduled preventive maintenance inspections; ensures compliance with technical data specifications. Maintains inspection, maintenance and historical record information in the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS). Deploys, unpacks, inspects, positions and activates mobile and transportable radio maintenance equipment.

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 339 tactical radio equipment items valued at $960K in support of the 18th Wing, the largest composite combat wing in the Air Force. Verifies maintenance actions on ground-to-ground, ground-to-air, line of sight, high frequency (HF), very high frequency (VHF) and ultra high frequency (UHF) radio systems. Deploys and activates mobile radio communications systems in support of Theater Deployable Communications package in response to 18th Wing, Pacific Air Forces, and Joint Chiefs of Staff directed taskings throughout the Pacific area of responsibility. Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance inspections on transportable transceivers, amplifiers, tactical satellite and land mobile radio (LMR) communications systems. Designs, installs, and manages public address systems of 18th Wing including local and Okinawa wide events.
