As a Major, he oversaw the Patrol, Community Policing and Administration sections.Stephen Johnson was appointed as the Chief of Police of the North Miami Police Department in August 2010 after serving as the City’s Interim Police Chief since May of that year. He was appointed Interim City Manager by the North Miami City Council in August 2011 and subsequently selected to serve as City Manager. Retired from the City of North Miami after 30 years of service. Currently serves as Asst. City Manager with the City of Miramar, Fl.
