Stephen is currently Co-Founder and CEO of IRAI, a startup focused on curating crypto markets with AI. He was previously Co-Founder and CTO of Asklora, an SFC licensed stock trading platform that emulates a private banking experience with a Generative AI infrastructure. IRAI's LLM-ADE ("lemonade") framework revolutionizes AI in finance by modifying and optimizing the architecture of open-source foundational LLMs. By altering layers and adding blocks, we tailor these models specifically for financial data, effectively sending them to "business school." This upstream technology allows our AI to absorb and process data directly, enabling rapid, cost-effective retraining and operation on smaller hardware.Prior to IRAI and Asklora, Stephen held senior roles as quantitative trader and fund manager at Merrill Lynch, HSBC, Citi, Kyobo AXA, and Mirae Asset. Stephen has authored peer-reviewed papers on quantitative finance and AI at various financial journals and AI conferences. Stephen holds an MS in Financial Mathematics from University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
