Home based in Tucson with responsibility to maintain the xray inspection systems at Tucson Airport's security checkpoints, but also share with other technicians responsibilities for the US western region. Key player in Tier2 software upgrade project across the US mainland and outlying islands and possessions, and in installation of Analogic 920CT computed tomography xray inspection systems at such airports as Cincinnati. Worked to field and test 30+ security systems for Super Bowl LVII.

Kuwait

Service, maintain and repair security inspection systems across 10 locations in Kuwait in support of PM/FPS Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems program managed by prime contractor Huntington-Ingalls International. At primary location of Camp Arifjan, responsible for maintenance & repair of a total of 12 standalone and containerized inspection systems for baggage and personnel at site entry control checkpoints, military air terminals, postal operations and cargo facilities. Contract came up for renewal in January 2022 and was awarded to GDIT, who did not bring on board Rapiscan personnel.

Doha, Qatar

Install, test, certify and maintain a broad array of x-ray inspection systems in support of renovations to Doha's older international airport, as well as maintain x-ray inspection systems at Doha's Hamad International Airport. Doha hosts the FIFA World Cup in 2022 and expects an enormous influx of visitors, making renovations to the older airport necessary to handle the increased volume of tourist activity. Rapiscan is an OEM subcontractor to WATAD Group Enterprises on this program. After successful installs of numerous systems, was tapped to augment the reduced footprint PM-FPS program in Kuwait.

Bagram, Afghanistan

Service, maintain and repair security inspection systems across 17 locations in Afghanistan in support of PM/FPS Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems program managed by prime contractors STS International and Huntington-Ingalls International. At primary location of Bagram Air Base, responsible for maintenance & repair of a total of 16 standalone and containerized inspection systems for baggage and personnel at site entry control checkpoints, military air terminals and postal operations.

Kabul, Afghanistan

In addition to technical duties, manage logistical aspects of a program with that supports over 50 cargo/vehicle inspection and baggage/parcel inspection systems in international airports and key border checkpoints in the countries of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. Interface with prime contractors CACI/CENTCOM and partner Arempa Technologies and its host nation subsidiaries, to ensure effective customer service.

Balad, Iraq / Baghdad, Iraq / Camp Leatherneck & Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan

Maintained and repaired X-Ray scanning systems - full body scanners and baggage/parcel inspection systems - on military sites across Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar and Afghanistan. Worked as part of a three to nine-member team of technicians. Regularly met with prime contractor Mantech/CSC and URS personnel to ensure top-quality customer service, accurate work documentation and full contract compliance.
