In conjunction with my responsibilities with fleet technology support I have focused on building a new innovative driver fitness software called Truckfit. Truckfit is the solution the industry has been waiting for to combat driver fitness, driver retention and on the job injury. Truckfit has contracted Velociti and my role specifically to consult on the development and deployment of this proprietary product.

As the founder and owner of TruckFit, I am building and managing an innovative functional fitness solution for truck driver professionals. The program includes functional fitness, boxing, martial arts and cardio vascular exercise's that drivers can do in the cab of the truck, in their trailer or custom workouts at nearby gyms. TruckFit also allows the driver to build a custom profile based on personnel goals with built in logic to guide them through their day in the truck, at home or in and around restaurants anywhere. This program will reduce on the job injuries and in some cases reduce insurance costs. This is the future in combating driver fitness and driver shortage issues. More coming soon!

Began at ODFL as a route driver and worked in all aspects of the operation. Worked as inbound and outbound supervisor, linehaul and city dispatch, customer service, billing and sales. Moved to corporate as a field trainer for the on board process of PeopleNet in 2010. Managed training and implementation of onboard computers to a 7500 truck fleet and trained over 10,000 users in one year. Worked in all aspects of technology rollout and implementation. Conducted and created training methods that successfully integrated the PeopleNet telematics system in all aspects of the operation. Worked cross functionally with all departments to design processes for data mining, data integration and end user applications. Designed ongoing training methods for drivers, supervisors, managers, VPs and all levels of organization. Post rollout identified company and department goals to manage Telematics data, its integration, training, workflow dispatching, and a fuel efficiency program. Mapped out organizational structure and design for Telematics department. Researched and created job descriptions for new industry positions. Interviewed, hired, trained and lead new positions to department of 8 highbred positions. Managed these highbred positions that included a specialized focus in safety, operations, maintenance, statistics, process improvement inventory, project management and IT integration. The team continued to research and develop new methodologies used to approve operations, training and new IT integrations that improved process. This includes navigation systems, equipment trends-options, scale bypass, tolling options, driver training, linehaul, inventory management, MPG improvements, maintenance process and any other transportation and business organizational improvement.Successfully managed several projects to include - ROI/MPG fuel management programMass device system upgrade to new OS on 7500 units in 7 weeksDesigned, built and implemented automated MPG truck analysis.

Started as a P&D driver maximizing route efficiency and exceling at customer service. Became dock supervisor and managed dock crew running the operation in a non-computerized workplace. Moved on to dispatch and operations management. Responsible for managing operation to include dispatch, sales, dock operations, safety and maintenance.
