As director of capital markets at CuthbertWhite, I have had in-excess of 25 years of experience advising on in-excess of £1 billion of transactions. I have advised a broad spectrum of clients including private investors, family offices, private equity houses, property companies and major institutions on acquisition, disposal, asset management and funding across all sectors of commercial property.Following graduating from Aberdeen University in 1996 I joined Roxburgh & Co-a specialist investment consultancy and was instrumental in the growth of the business before joining Montagu Evans in 2004 where I led the successful capital markets team in Edinburgh. In 2014 an opportunity arose to work alongside former colleague Chris Cuthbert and Nick White who established CuthbertWhite in 2011CuthbertWhite (www.cuthbertwhite.com), based in Edinburgh city centre has recently celebrated 10 years in business. Our objectives are simple – to maximise the interests of our clients and to exceed client expectations at all times. Since its inception, CuthbertWhite has grown and strengthened in all areas of the business, and we are now involved in a growing number of high profile commercial property projects across Scotland. We advise a number of well-known firms with their occupational property matters on both a consultancy and ad hoc basis. Since joining CuthbertWhite I have continued to advise established clients to include USS, Patrizia, Topland Group, Westerwood Group, Palm Capital, Lone Star and CBREI whilst developing new relationships with investors of all types seeking to deploy capital in predominantly Scottish real estate.Recently I have been instrumental in establishing Eden Pam with my fellow CW directors and Paul Coulter, Managing Director of Eden Pam. Paul comes with a wealth of UK wide experience and energy in re-positioning offices. Eden Pams speciality is city centre and fringe offices that require repurposing for todays discerning ESG conscious occupiers and landlords.
