Fit out Contractor

In this role I oversee projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget. Health and safety issues are a top priority, as is managing client expectations.Put together programme of works, site file comprising of RAMS and all relevant site specific documentation, Sourcing and appointing various subcontractors, cost management, dealing with designers and architects on a regular basis.I am the first point of contact for members of the public, clients, site managers and sub-contractors for as long as the contract lasts.

This role saw me managing a team of up to 20 members of staff, I engaged with them daily and kept them informed on our progress as we worked towards achieving very aggressive deadlines. I was also responsible for pricing and co-ordinating all contracts and purchasing materials. I carried out site visits with architects and clients. I dealt with all sub-contractors regularly and was responsible for all Health and Safety Procedures on a daily basis.

I founded the company and obtained approved contractor status with several large companies, I was responsible for sourcing labour, pricing and cost control management, procuring materials and co-ordinating all contract and sub contracts. Attended meetings and liaised with clients, sourced labour, material and sub-contractors. I was responsible for achieving deadlines and cost management.
