Organizational Consulting uses consensus-based methodologies to design and deliver customized workshops, facilitated conversations, and other activities that enable groups to have productive conversations that lead to real decisions, action, and change. As the Assistant Director, I am responsible for working with campus stakeholders to develop and provide service offerings that support their planning, organizational change, business process improvement, and decision-making efforts. I also set and manage service targets, strategies, and collaborative teams to ensure that we provide the outcomes necessary to make our clients and their teams successful.

As Program Manager for Organizational Development, I was primarily responsible for designing and delivering strategies that measurably improved the capabilities, collaboration, and effectiveness of teams within Technology Services. Additionally, I provided oversight for and facilitated the development and implementation of organizational strategic goals, objectives, and key results. I was also responsible for being a champion and advocate for staff within the organization, developing a culture that is diverse, inclusive, and focused on learning and growth. Finally, I acted as a consultant to other campus groups and organizations that required consensus-based decision-making and problem-solving facilitation services.

My primary role was to design and facilitate conversations and workshops that empowered teams to reach a common understanding of issues before them, create their own innovative solutions, and reach decisions that have the support of all parties involved. I also served as a Scrum Master for a variety of work teams that develop software, policies, and/or procedures.

I am one of five co-founding members of the non-profit Manager Development Institute. Our organization serves to improve the capability of IT managers and supervisors in higher education through research- and experience-based classroom instruction that is supported by functional practice and professional coaching. As Chair of the Board of Directors, I oversee general non-profit and instructional program strategy development and implementation while serving the needs of our Directors and volunteers. As a program instructor, I teach Team Development and serve as a professional coach for several members of each yearly cohort.

The Connection Ministry provides guests and members at Windsor Road Christian Church with incredibly easy access to the resources they need to continue growing in their faith in Jesus Christ while maintaining their connection to the church. As Director, I was responsible for the growth, development, and direction of several teams that provide a variety of instructional, informational, and social services to our congregation.
