Reporting to the head of the PMO; accountable for monitoring, analysing and reporting the status, in particular spend and milestones, of projects being undertaken to integrate Balfour Beatty Workplace and Cofely GDF Suez Ltd into a single entity (following the sale of Workplace to Cofely).Supported the setting up of Cofely's Shared Service Centre by mapping multiple sets of heritage processes for use in training documentation.

After the sale of Balfour Beatty Workplace to GDF Suez Group in December 2013 continued graduate training under the "Cofely UK" GDF Suez.3rd Placement: CSM, Department of Business Innovation & Skills (Scotland).• mobilisation of a new "Facilities Management (FM)" services contract to the Student Loans Company under the UK Government BIS umbrella. I was the client’s principal point of contact in Scotland and lead all activities (both operationally and from a procurement perspective) to mobilise the new contract including; holding meetings with staff in relation to TUPE; liaising closely with the client to ensure any concerns were effectively dealt with. • I ran a number of sourcing events to appoint sub-contractors to deliver elements of the service (after identifying in-house skill gaps that would have prevented self-delivery of the contract).4th Placement: Business Change & Improvement Manager (London) - Camden & Islington NHS Trust, FM contract. • Accountable for improving domestic service delivery; used a number of six sigma and other tools e.g. “day in the life shadowing”, process mapping, etc. Identified a number of delivery failures in key service areas and implemented corrective actions. This role had a strong focus on stakeholder management to obtain customer buy in to the proposed corrective actions.

Balfour Beatty Graduate Programme (four six month placements). 1st Placement: Team Manager, DWP Service Centre (Glasgow). • Responsible for leading a team of 16 and for managing the operation of each function of the service centre on a rotational basis. Leadership accountabilities included holding weekly team meetings, staff development and coaching, staff disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans. 2nd Placement: Procurement Manager, Private Sector Contracts (London).• Accountable for all procurement activities required to support five facilities management contracts with an addressable spend of ~ £5million. Accountabilities included: running tenders and sourcing events; spend analysis; stakeholder management and contract negotiation. and business development to support bids for new work. • Supported the successful bid for facilities management of HMS Belfast with the Imperial War Museum.
