Member of Aecon's Finance Leadership Team reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer Responsibilities included: Execution of M&A transactions including valuations, due diligence and legal documentation Played a leadership role in Aecon’s $1.45 billion proposed sale to China-based CCCI InternationalHolding Limited. During the strategic sale process responsibilities included: development of marketingmaterials, coordination of due diligence, preparation of executive leadership team for management meetings, development of strategic investment highlights, coordination of site visits and assistance with financial valuation. Following transaction announcement acted as primary liaison with financial, communications and government relations advisors, responsible for preparation of all external communications materials and investor, media and government relations. Worked with internal and external legal counsel extensively during the Government of Canada's seven month review of the transaction. Transaction ultimately ended in May 2018 when it was rejected by the Government of Canada citing security concerns.
