    Worked a a temporary intern for Senator Mark Daly and my main role was to assist him with his work for the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs Committee. Senator Daly, as a leading political voice in the 'Undocumented Irish' campaign, granted me a variety of opportunities to work with the key players in the Irish-American movement on his behalf in order to further their goals amongst the Irish parliament. Senator Daly was also instrumental in attempting to secure an agreement between Ireland and Canada on the recognition of Canadian drivers licences in Ireland. I was involved in drafting a briefing document to the Senator on the issue including the compilation of a historical archive on the issue, liaising with the Department of Transport and organising a meeting for the Senator with Canadian Ambassador Ignatius Loyola.
