Senator Daly was also instrumental in attempting to secure an agreement between Ireland and Canada on the recognition of Canadian drivers licences in Ireland. I was involved in drafting a briefing document to the Senator on the issue including the compilation of a historical archive on the issue, liaising with the Department of Transport and organising a meeting for the Senator with Canadian Ambassador Ignatius Loyola.

I was responsible for policy, advocacy and the administrative side of the project.
