I have more than twenty-five years of diverse business and legal transactional experience and have supervised over $2 billion in lower middle-market transactions. I currently serve as Managing Partner at Carriage Hill, where I advise owners and executives of privately held and founder/family-owned companies on mergers and acquisitions, growth strategies, private equity recapitalizations, strategic sales, venture capital, and other strategic matters.I also assist business owners, in close collaboration with their legal and accounting representatives, to facilitate the resolution of disputes among one or more shareholders, including negotiating buyout terms and economics, facilitating transaction processes and raising third-party capital (as and when necessary) to consummate the deals. My background includes extensive involvement in buy-side/sell-side investment banking, commercial lending, strategic consulting, capital-raising, restructuring, and corporate law. I have significant experience in the healthcare industry and have also worked closely with companies in industrial manufacturing, energy, distribution, business services, consumer products, and brands. I take a hands-on approach to understanding the history and inner workings of each client's business, working closely with the ownership and/or management team to find the optimal strategic path forward.Prior to Carriage Hill, I was Managing Director and Group Head of Asset-Based Lending at CapitalSource and a member of its Executive Management Committee. I served as Senior Vice President at GE Capital and its predecessor company, Heller Financial.
