Researched, wrote, and published an annual 112-page planner for San Francisco which also serves as a portable reference guide to San Francisco including harm reduction tips, political involvement and civil rights guides, lists of social programs, lists of free admission days at museums and parks, and other free events. It contains original artwork, historical facts, and a wealth of other information designed to make life in San Francisco more fun and organized. 2012 version includes a collated mix CD of local bands.

Perform all aspects of bartending duties at major theaters dressed in professional attire. Work very long hours with large crowds. Rotate between all duties at full service restaurant inside The Concourse including Server, Busser, Host, Prep Cook, and Waiter.

Chosen to conduct Census Enumerator training after scoring 100% on the census employment test. Managed 13 enumerators for several months with a workload of 700 cases. Completed tasks ahead of schedule. Used one third the allotted number of “closeouts” (cases allowed to remain incomplete). Withstood several waves of 90% staff reductions while the census was winding down.

Helped walk-in clients connect with the social services they need including shelter systems and legal forms. Researched and supplied clients from around the globe with information regarding anything related to LGBT issues. Trained and managed volunteers working at the front desk. Populated the Center’s resource database with information about San Francisco resources. Performed all front desk duties including answering queries via phone or email, processing rental payments, finding and printing informational pamphlets, etc. Used de-escalation training to help maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere in the building.
