•Support the field EHS Superintendant in the role of managing the project as the prime contractor thru the Devon EHS management program.•Attend all contractors’ toolbox and safety meetings on a regular basses providing continuous support and encouragement for the well being of all site personnel.•Ensure the development and utilization of site standards as they are approved are distributed and consistently implemented across the project.•Maintain a high profile on site and be readily available to the employees/contractors for assistance regarding any EHS concern. •Assist in the development of audit protocols and the use of audit checklist while managing the contractor’s EHS programs.•Perform daily regular site inspections and reporting of potential risks and also provide mentoring for all safety programs being used site wide.•Attend all regular scheduled meetings and planned inspections and provide feedback when necessary.•Ensure site training requirements are being followed and maintain tracking of the system in place for training and competency.•In conjunction with the corporate EHS department, assist construction management in determining EHS training requirements.•Maintain the training records on site and forward all appropriate information to Calgary corporate office.
