Working with a global content management and software engineering team, located in the UK, Europe and India, undertaking development and support for BT Global Services internet & intranet platforms. Management of software design, build, test and delivery into service plus in-life support and maintenance of BT GS web applications and content management system.

Undertake ongoing development and support of internet & intranet CMS platforms across all of BT's lines of business, managing a team of content management engineers. This involves platform build, regular release schedules to enhance existing functionality and improve the user interface. Management of design, build, test and delivery into service plus in-life support and maintenance of cross line of business CMS systems including BT GS, BT Retail, BT Wholesale and BT OpenReach.

With a budget in excess of £2M/PA, work involved the project management of a team software engineers undertaking the design, build, implementation and in-life support and maintenance of a global Content Management System (CMS) and web applications within BT. Includes: Project planning and scheduling / Customer & client facing project reporting / Management of requirements, software design, development and implementation / Resource management & coaching / Implementation and management of a first and second line support teams / Supplier and vendor management / Finance management.

Designing fibre solutions for the BT's core and access network, providing interconnect and access services. Supporting planning teams on network provision and installation.

Planning the provision and installation of the fibre network including civil engineering works. Working with local authorities and customers to upgrade the network with fibre capacity and capability.
