  I have a diversified experience in all facets of railroad construction, maintenance and rehabilitation. My abilities include procurement of materials, equipment utilization as well as construction management. I complete constructability reviews to ensure compliance with contract intent and design. My role includes inspection of completed work for quality control and assurance. I lead inspection teams on multiple projects and act as the owner’s representative. Major work categories include: earthwork, drainage, track construction, facility lighting, office buildings, and related activities. I closely observe placement of soils for embankment of both paved roadway and track roadbed as well as placement of backfill around structures and stabilization of soils. I also gather soil samples for lab analysis and performs required density testing. I closely observe the installation of rail components for quality and conformance to specifications. I adhere to industry standards of track construction for American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way (AREMA), Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), and the serving railroad standards. Safe work practices are one of my major goals during the project, and I works to enforce all safety standards.During construction management, I assists in submittal reviews and in responding to Contractor submitted RFIs, Coordinates a timely response to contractor’s questions during construction. Review and approves pay requests, provides research to approve/disapprove requested change orders, and provides a consistent, positive and professional interface to the owner, contractor, designers and local project players.
