Worked as a lead well site leader on a coiled tubing drilling rig. Responsible for implementing the drilling program on the rig. Responsible for ensuring that BP's safety culture and systems are in place and followed. Worked as both a lead and night drilling supervisor in the Cold Lake and Harmatten fields in Alberta Canada. We drilled both deviated and horizontal wells for heavy oil. I was also the lead supervisor for the first rig in the Nabiye Cold Lake expansion project. We brought the rig out of the yard where it had been sitting for six months and within three.

As a mechanical maintenance engineer intern, Stephen worked on various maintenance projects throughout the facility. For one project, Stephen designed a new concrete containment pad for a centrifugal transfer pump, to replace the existing one that was no longer serviceable. Stephen's primary project during the internship, was to evaluate the ventilation.
