To this end we established a consultancy based company focusing on the needs of the wider UK education, church and charity sectors. We also established a national fundraising program enabling fundraising via everyday spending for charities, the education sector (schools etc.) religious communities and membership organisations.December 2009 - Contracted as Business Development Consultants by the Catholic Church of England & Wales to establish a new national collaborative purchasing program (organisation) that would facilitate any Catholic organisation (church, school or agency) being able to buy products or services at nationally negotiated rates. The project was initially managed and coordinated by our consultancy and included a high level of national collaborative discussion with key stakeholders, the identification, subsequent selection and contracting of product category suppliers. The organisation developed to become known as www.churchmarketplace.org.uk which now has key suppliers in place for many product & service categories serving the church’s main consumables.Business Development Consultant - The Consortium Following the award of the Church Marketplace contract to The Consortium (Education supplier of the year) - www.theconsortium.co.uk Our consultancy was invited to set up a new division to service the contract awarded by the Catholic Church of England & Wales and which could also subsequently service the entire UK church sector.
