Steve also served as the category management team leader for Vonn’s, Target, Walgreens and Albertsons. These duties included developing promotion calendars, plan-o-grams for mainline and checkout displays, and event marketing in-store activities. Category management duties also required Steve to communicate new fixture front end technology including LED lighting. This required negotiations with confection and general manufacturing companies, and finally, execution of national fixture installation projects.

Responsible for all aspects of the Shelters operations from Budgeting, staffing, fundraising, physical plant reparation, community relations and business partnerships. also responsible for planning and executing events to raise money and outreach educational programs to raise awareness.
