About Stephen Lebitsch
Stephen Lebitsch is a graduate of Fordham University (Class of 2021), where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Culture and a minor in Sports Journalism. While enrolled, he spent three years writing for the sports section of the college's official student newspaper, The Fordham Ram, and served as a staff writer for Volumes 101 to 103.Using his education and immense passion for the space, Stephen is seeking to leverage his knowledge and skills into building a successful career in the broader sports industry. He has spent his early years of his career as an ambitious and dedicated contributor for the On SI and FanNation Networks, both an SI.com affiliate and their affiliate site "New York Giants on SI" and for the FanSided Network (Minute Media) and their Empire Writes Back regional site, delving into a mix of local NFL and NBA editorial coverage. Prior to that, his stops include Minute Media with their affiliate, 12up, Talking Points Sports, an online sports media startup comprised of fellow industry hopefuls and Sportskeeda. As he undertakes this mission, Stephen seeks to further network with fellow industry professionals, learn more about the sports space and where he can improve himself and add new skills to achieve further growth and bring winning contributions to any company or team. Much of his initial experience comes in sports writing and content creation, but that focus has been broadened to include professional interests in sports communications, public relations, marketing, and more, where Stephen believes his skills and passions will thrive.
