Lead inspection technician for CAN (Offshore) Ltd. at Flotta oil terminal - Orkney Islands.Responsibilities include;• Carrying out all day to day maintenance inspections• QA/QC for all site fabrication work• Supervision of site shutdowns/projects, raising work packs, documentation sheets and issuing of final inspection reports• Documentation and package preparation, database management and co-ordination of Work scopes• Experience gained assisting Integrity Engineers with respect to in-service failure investigations, recommendations to the client on management strategies, future Inspection strategies and repair methods. • Material and Consumable Control/Monitoring• Assisting in audits as per the site schedule.• Maximo, IRS and Coabis literate

Time served NDT technician with Oceaneering. Training done over a 3 year period from 2007-2010 at Wilton petrochemical site, also across the UK and abroad on various projects and shutdowns. Worked offshore, North Sea from April 2011 - September 2013 and gained valuable experience in the design, manufacture, inspection, operation and maintenance of pressure systems. Knowledge also gained in fabric maintenance. Experienced in various inspection techniques such as radiography & interpretation (conventional and digital), ultrasonics 3.1/3.2, MPI & DPI. I also have experience, but no formal qualification, in other techniques such as hardness testing, positive material identification, IRIS & GUL. I hold a current IRATA level 1 rope access ticket, BOSIET incl. Norwegian sector, MIST and medicals.
