Stephen founded The School of Positive Psychology (TSPP), a private higher education institution, in 2007 to advance mental well-being through the science of positive psychology, counselling and psychotherapy, coaching psychology, and positive organisational psychology. TSPP's operations are currently in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and the Philippines. In 2019, Stephen co-founded Thrive Psychology Clinic, a mental health clinic that offers therapy, psychometrics, and coaching services. He also co-founded Novosensus, a consulting and training firm dedicated to team and leadership development. In Nov 2019, he started a podcast called "Getting NAKED with Happiness" and interviewed trauma survivors and mental health champions from around the world on the topic of resilience, meaning, and post-traumatic growth. The National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists, U.K., awarded him a fellowship for his dedication to advancing the field of psychotherapy through education and training.Stephen has worked with hundreds of individuals, leaders, and organisations in personal and leadership development, and has given numerous talks on mental well-being topics related to resilience, meaning, post-trauma growth, and reconnecting with purpose.
