About Stephen Logan
Currently I have two complementary global roles, as both a Design Director and a Capability Leader.I have more than 25 years international experience in consulting engineering in buildings. As a Design Director I am tasked with bringing the best of design to our clients on their key projects, through my own ideas sometimes, but most often through collaboration with wider multi-discipline teams.I've been fortunate to be able to apply this collaborative design approach on some fantastic, award winning projects, including Wembley Stadium in the UK, Manchester Civil Justice Centre, and Sunshine Coast University Hospital in Queensland. For this latter project I was named one of Australia's Most Innovative Engineers by Engineers Australia in 2017.My experience includes airports, sports stadiums, healthcare, large commercial and public buildings. I have been engaged on projects in the UK, Middle East, Asia and Australia. Some of my better known projects in Australia include Docklands (now Marvel) Stadium, Western Sydney Airport, Perth Airport, Crown Casino Melbourne and Brookfield Place in Perth.My other role is as the Global Capability Leader for Building Mechanical Services. In this role I am responsible for seeing that our teams around the world have the right capabilities, tools and methods to efficiently exceed our clients expectations. We are significantly investing in automation, digital service enhancement and standardisation initiatives, so that our teams can spend more time with their clients and deliver better outcomes to them
