Key Responsibilities Managed the implementation of the ISO9001-2008 standard across CAAi, developed compliant processes and procedures, wrote the CAAi Quality Manual, developed and delivered ISO audit training for all staff, supported the Stage 1 and Stage 2 external audits and achieved ISO certification on the first attempt in 2014.Responsible for marketing the CAA expertise in aviation safety and regulation to overseas Governments, National Aviation Authorities, UK military and civil aircraft operators, and organisations. Main responsibilities include the identification of new business opportunities, developing client relationships, contract negotiations, managing, writing and winning bids for worldwide projects of various sizes and up to several million GBP, project management of key projects, and contract management of key accounts including EASA, Department for Transport and the Ministry of Defence. Influencing and engaging managers and subject matter experts within the UK CAA to support CAAi projects and managing Project Coordinators supporting key projects.

Part of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the MD and responsible for all sales & future business development opportunities for the company, liaising with production and quality managers, and managing the sales team.

Reported to the MD and responsible for developing long term future business selling bespoke, turnkey test equipment, military shelters, special vehicles and training simulators to the aerospace, broadcast and defence markets. Customers include CAE, BAe Systems, Boeing, Goodrich, MoD, Thales, Ultra and Arqiva.

Working from home and reporting directly to the USA, responsible for all aerospace sales and engineering activity in the UK and Germany for the Stratoflex division.• Successfully securing RR JSF F135 3BSM contract worth circa £7M.• Provided 6 months on-site engineering support at RR to ensure success of 3BSM.• Coordinated the US commercial, engineering and purchasing teams for UK & Germany.

Responsible for key accounts included the major aerospace OEMs, airlines and MROs. • Instrumental in ensuring RR JSF F135 3BSM hose/coupling concept worked.• Significantly contributed to Aeroquip achieving 300% increase in sales in 6 years.• Worked closely with engineers and designers to meet programme requirements.• Worked closely with the UK distributor, Saywell International, to achieve UK market dominance with Aeroquip product line.• Won key aerospace programmes with BAE Systems and Agusta Westland worth circa £1m.
