We offered asset management, underground utility mapping, geotechnical inspections and topographical surveys to large corporate clients. My area covered fifty per cent of England and all of Wales. I had responsibility for a portfolio of clients worth £22M with a quarterly guideline of £300K of pure new business as well as maintaining and developing existing client spend. Major projects that I was involved in included roads, hospitals, schools, coastal harbours, military installations, stadiums, highways and the rail network. Although I enjoyed this role immensely, 40Seven were hit hard by the recession and offered me the opportunity to take redundancy with a view to returning to full time education and the fulfilment of my lifelong desire to complete my business degree. -
