At Nationwide I have been managing a team overseeing the commercial property lending in the North & Midlands, whilst helping to develop the Business Banking strategy for national launch in due course..As the launch approaches , my role has now become fully absorbed with the relationship banking SME proposition aimed at businesses with t/o c£2m +, to be cascaded out of regional business centres located across the UK. .

At Alliance & Leicester I was rsponsible for building the mid corporate SME proposition , growing the regional business centres from 2 to 20 and recruiting then leading a team of 200 business bankers.

At Bank of Scotland I was Area Director for Liverpool, Chester and North Wales, in charge of a team seeking to deliver banking products and services to mid value corporate businesses..c£2m to £25m t/o p.a. Essentially we were seeking "new to bank" customers. Latterly I was Area Director for Real Estate lending overseeing a significant investment and development property portfolio across the North West.
