Manages an international engineering team of 225 people including resources in US, India, Croatia and Serbia.▪ Assembled a team to develop a greenfield cloud native application to incorporate functionality of legacy Oracle Health Sciences clinical trial products into a single reimagined offering (Clinical One).▪ Works with product management, and other executive management to understand customer needs and plan future functionality and roadmap.▪ Works closely with architecture lead to design modern microservices based architecture that supported the requirements.▪ Manages execution of multiple agile engineering teams to deliver quality, on-time software according to the required specs, and meeting the rigorous standards of health sciences regulatory software (e.g. CFR-part 11).▪ Works closely with Cloud Native Engineering team to design/develop PaaS framework on top of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offering to support container-based (Docker/Kubernetes) applications in the cloud.▪ Works with other GBU executive management to coordinate modernizing of cloud development practices.▪ Promotes cloud native development practices (microservices - CI/CD) with engineering teams across Oracle.▪ Advocate for Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration practices across all Oracle Business Units

 Part of an advanced development team reporting directly to the CTO Responsible for the design and development of an XML based “WAP” portal. This portal takes a commercial XML tagged news feed and dynamically converts the data to the appropriate format for the requesting device (HTML, WML, HDML) using XSL. Implemented java application to convert arbitrary XML DTDs to BroadVision content types to enable transfer of XML data into a BroadVision website. Participated in many investigations using technologies such as Corba, Apache JServ, IIS, XSL, XML, HDML, WML, XWAP, Perl, BroadVision and Bluestone XMLServer,

 Development manager for Networking and System Services Teams (approx 15 direct reports). Responsible for product schedules and planning, employee reviews, hardware budget, and vendor relationships.  Implemented several system service features for the Domino server. Including cross platform disk statistics, and JIT debugging capabilities during auto-restart. Programming done in both C/C++. Worked with core teams to resolve issues on all aspects of Domino server including DB server, HTTP server, FT engine, Corba, etc.  Member of a three person team that ported Domino to the Linux platform.

 Development team member responsible for the delivery of the Notes/UNIX server and client on all supported UNIX platforms including: AIX, HP-UX, Solaris.

 Designed/developed factory floor management system. All code written in C and was designed to be portable so as to run on both VMS and UNIX/Solaris Systems. System includes: interface to legacy IBM mainframe apps, automatic data collection from PC based test stations, data export to SPC/SQC systems for analysis. System Administration of 50 node Vax/Solaris network. Ethernet network installation/administration and troubleshooting.
